Because Not All Heroes Wear Capes

If you found yourself in a bit of a struggle up a steep hill or even battling to fix a puncture, chances are you, you’ve met them. They’re the Trek Troopers, also known as the Telkom 947 Cycle Challenge’s Super Troopers – a special group of experienced riders responsible for getting you across the finish line!

I stayed right to the end and, it’s actually quite emotional. You realise that these people put in every little ounce of energy and emotion into crossing that finish line.

Kevin van den Broek, Trek Bikes

I was quite emotional when I saw these people coming across and, everyone’s there and cheering them on. It’s like, wow what is this – that you don’t get at the front, that human element… you actually see who we are as South Africans in the negative times that we have and, all this pessimism.

Listen as a group of Troopers come together to share incredibly inspiring stories off the back of the Telkom 947 Cycle Challenge.
