The Momentum 94.7 Cycle Challenge encourages all cyclists to Ride for a Purpose and make a difference.

Now is the time to attach a social responsibility goal to your own personal goal!

Whether a cyclist rides to raise funds for a charity, in memory of a loved one, to support a good cause or to show that a disability is no impairment to living an active life, the idea is to add another dimension to the event, beyond the physical challenge.

The Ride for a Purpose campaign reflects the principles of Lead SA, which calls on South Africans to stand up, do the right thing and make a difference. By riding for someone or something, cyclists can make an impact on their community.

Ride for a Purpose will continue to be the underlying thread throughout this year’s race. A staggering R6 779 941.50 was raised for charity this past year and for that, we are grateful.
